On Thursday night, I watched the first two episodes of the second season of The Capture, having viewed the first series about three years ago. As I said at the time, I rather enjoyed the show, although it got more and more implausible as the episodes went on. I had originally intended to watch a few more episodes over the weekend but, due to being out late Friday and laid up most of Saturday, that didn't happen. I won't say too much about it until I've seen more, but so far the premise is interesting, though so far not so interesting that I feel an immediate need to start the next episode. I intend to keep watching, so we'll see if the show picks up a bit.
This weekend has been a bit of a washout, since I was sidelined by a massive migraine for most of Saturday. Friday night was fun though; my sister and family who live in the Valley came up to town to spend the last day of March Break doing fun stuff like swimming at the Canada Games Center with some of their cousins. Of course, I was working during the day, but a bunch of us got together for dinner and a lovely evening of hanging out with family. However, it's probably responsible for the headache I had... I frequently wake up with one the following morning if I eat late at night, especially if I eat junk food. Which I did, despite the possible consequences. I took an Advil before going to bed, hoping to ward it off... sometimes that works, though obviously not this time. We're celebrating another of my sister's birthday at lunch today and, due to the headache, I didn't get out to pick up a gift for her. I was feeling well enough last night, however, to do a bit of sewing; I dug this tapestry fabric out of my stash and made a market bag for her. I'm leaving early for church because I have to pick up a few food items for the party (also because I didn't get out yesterday) and will purchase a few things- not sure what yet- to put in the bag.

About MeI'm a lover of good books, classic movies, and well-written shows (as well as some pretty cheesy ones, to be completely honest). Categories
