It's been a busy few days; I attended a third Christmas concert on Sunday night, which was followed by a reception. I got home rather late, and had to immediately sit down at the sewing machine and finish a present. I had the day off work Monday and it was devoted to baking, wrapping, and cleaning. I then attended a candlelight Christmas Eve service, followed by a potluck hosted by my brother & his wife. Then it was off to my parent's place with presents, food, and assorted baggage to spend a couple of days.
I brought this book with me to reread (I got it a few years ago as a gift). It's full of interesting information about the making of Frank Capra's It's A Wonderful Life, great pictures from the film, and interviews with some of the stars. We'll probably be watching the movie tonight, so I'm glad I got a chance to at least skim over a lot of the facts and anecdotes which the book contains.
